MY NY

A couple of years ago, I put together a piece of cartoony art for Madame Tussuad's NYC. The how and why of this is irrelevant, and I don't have the final piece that came out of it, but I did just unearth some of the sketches and caricatures I did for the project.

Here are the rough layouts I did. We went with the line-up instead of the grid:




And here are some of the characters I did for the final piece (not all of them made it in):












Any resemblance to actual persons living or dead is purely coincidental. Of course, these drawings were done back when I was working in the heart of Times Square, so I definitely saw some of these folks many times over, all day every day.
